KENILWORTH ABANDONED
Gold Circle advises that due to continuous heavy rainfall, throughout the week in Cape Town, the racemeeting scheduled to take place at Kenilworth Racecourse on Saturday, June 21, will not take place and the minor races on the programme have been abandoned.
However, the Ladies Mile (Listed) has been postponed to Saturday, June 28, and therefore the field as declared remains including the reserve runners.
It has been agreed to add a fixture at Kenilworth on Wednesday, July 23, and a new programme will be issued in due course by the National Racing Bureau.
The Greyville day racemeeting scheduled for Wednesday, July 23, will now be a night racemeeting.
