So an old subject I know but it just never seems to get addressed . Today was at a tote outlet where many people were trying to get paid but were once again told to try another tote or take a voucher as they had no cash to payout. So Mr Moodley advertises great pools and pleads with everyone to take bets on the July which people do. Great now they win and off they trot on Monday to collect only to be told sorry we can't pay. Great way to get once a year punters to get more involved . No wonder racing is going backwards. Try winning 10k at a casino you get paid in a couple of minutes but wit,h racing you must take vouchers or travel from one tote to another to find money, it's a disgrace. You take cash from all Punters and first timers and once a year punters but can't payout cash when they come back to collect. Don't tell me it's a security issue or any issue for that matter it's a tote issue so fix it and do what's neccesary to pay out when you should. You should have seen the confusion and despair on some of the faces when they were told we can't payout now. Just typically unprofessional and total lack of customer service from our operators .YOU SHOULD BE ASHAMED OF YOURSELVES.

All the cash is collected early the morning
staff told me that they are also frustrated as they bear the brunt of the punters
it is from the top.
I was told by staff off the record
the HO do it on purpose because research has shown if they issue voucher the punter will reinvest the money and in most cases they lose it.
Despite everything last Saturday,Neil Andrews kept shouting his head off about :Guaranteed 13 million".I assume once the punters have covered the 13mill ,Tote bails out.
It was very frustrating not being able to bet online,even UK Racing.Lost faith in SA Racing years ago.
