But Striker has ridden over 5000 winners. A living legend!!!

True Sammy and i have the utmost respect for Striker but i am sure he would agree that Piggott was probably the greatest jock ever?
We must consider the qty and quality of grade one races he won over the years

Piggott's greatest strength was that he had no weaknesses. He was a great judge of pace, had supreme tactical awareness and nobody has ever been stronger in a finish. He also knew the form book inside out (as did many others of his generation, e.g. Edward Hide) and always had a plan as to exactly how a horse should best be ridden (he never took the view of 'just wait and see how the race pans out'). It made no difference to him what the race was, all he wanted to do was to win it.

Jirra Hoender....I swear you are gay with a huge crush on Moore. He is a very good jockey..no dispute, but nothing brilliant. That is my opinion. I would rather have RichardKingscote or Tom Marquand riding with my money on..
