Have a good punt on Green Ice in race 1, managed to get 5's but got backed from 10/1 into 33/10 on hollywood... shep around to see if you can get a better price... that will set you up for the day.

New Predator, may prefer the 1200 meters. Could be the surprise package and there is still some 14/1 available if you shop around. Bull Valley must be the one to beat.
I have played a yankee on the 4 Van Vuuren horses, his yard seems to be coming back to form.

Race 2 - Girl On The Run 2/1
Always concerning when a horse runs 3 seconds in a row but she has had legitimate excuses in each of them. Showed LTO that 2400 isn't an issue. I think she'll go really close here with Anton up - probably the horse in the race that still can eek out a little more improvement whereas the others like Witchcraft and Trophy Wife may have already hit their ceiling. JVV stable in cracking form as of late in KZN with the Virga x Doosra double on Wednesday. I think Nima is the biggest danger so will be throwing a saver closer to race time on her.
Race 3 - Premier Dance 15/10(should drift towards race time)
I rate this filly a fair bit. Was very pleased with her comeback run. On pure ability alone, I think she should win this race however first time on the Greyville turf and the drop in trip isn't something I'm too chuffed about. So while I don't think it's a lump job(also her 2nd run after rest), her class should pull her through. I like the way the stable have brought her along, not throwing her in any features and giving her time to progress. Being a half sister to Capetown Noir, I think she'll continue to improve and should achieve a higher rating than her current one. She doesn't have much of a turn of foot if I'm not mistaken so I'll be counting on Veale to be up handy with her, probably leading.
Race 7 - Wukkin'Up 5/1, Frosty Friday 7/1
Wukkin'Up ran a great race against the boys LTO. She deserves a minor feature, if she takes to the surface, she can fight out the finish.
Frosty Friday has only had 9 runs and while you could say her last run was a bit disappointing, it was at the highest level. A few disappointed in the Garden Province as well including Just Sensual so I'm willing to forgive FF for that. She really should enjoy the poly and if running to her best, must go close here.
Race 8 - Trip to Heaven 7/2, Kangaroo Jack 12/1, Champagne Haze 16/1
Not often I back three in a race but at the prices, it's worth a go here. Not much I can say about trip to heaven that hasn't been said. Outstanding on his day, we know he'll break slow. The key is to leave him alone at the back and he'll produce the goods - deserves a grade 1 so hopefully it's his day on Saturday.
Kangaroo Jack has been disappointing of late but I'm a firm believer in horses for courses. We know what KJ did last year in the Merchants at Greyville. The thing about KJ is he needs a tight course with a sharp turn to be at his best. He loves the inside course at Turff and obviously Greyville. Also unbeaten over the trip(4 from 4). So while his last few runs have been below par(on the standside), he now returns to a course he'll love so hopefully that'll bring the real Kangaroo to the track.
I know Champagne Haze has a nightmare draw but he is a classy sort and at 16/1 is worth a speculative stab. His sprint form of late has been excellent and his last run carrying 67kg was top class. He'll be raring to go.

@ MOMF, I fancy the double Girl On The Run and Premier Dance, for similar reasons.
Guessing has never been widely acclaimed as a good gambling strategy.

R7, have a look at Qing (8/1), merit rating has dropped 5 points in about 2.5 months, down in class, two fair runs in the Province, blinker strike, third run after the rest, and a 3 time winner from 4 starts over distance never mind not at Greyville, at the price, must be worth a punt.
Don't say you didn't receive the memo
