Great racing today and tomorrow and to add to the excitement to an already thrilling day we have the King George to look forward to.

My luck of late has been a little short of almost devastating so I'm really hoping to turn it around today with selections I think are worthy, that said I just heard BRAZUCA is scratched...

Race 1 and 2 are IMO tricky to say the least so I'll be watching and watching only.

Race 3 however TOUCH OF MAGIC looks a PA Banker but in these fields anything can happen and I guess I'm hoping for a little TOUCH OF MAGIC to begin proceedings.

Race 4 I think EDDIE SWEAT is another that could go close, he has much in his favor and despite it being a tough race I think he could represent the value here so fingers crossed.

Race 5 is another I will be watching, no straight bets here for me but for PA, Jackpot and Pick 6 purposes I would go with CLIFTON SUNSET to upset the apple cart and I would include the entire field for exotics.

Race 6 - From all the comments it seems a boat race between NEBULA and MACDUFF, my slight preference is for the latter. That said if those two miss the frame it becomes wide open so for exotic purposes I think you need to take a stand and include the two above or go as wide as possible and hope for a big result.

Race 7 - Well it's been almost a month since the VDJ and here I am again wondering if MARINARESCO can pull another rabbit out the hat and defend his title. My assessment is simply this, BELA BELA was super impressive last time out, I was literally left speechless BUT she will need a whole bunch to go her way IMO to beat some of her rivals today, she's really good but I don't think she's MARINARESCO or CAPTAIN AMERICA good if you know what I'm saying... So of the overlooked runners, I believe MATADOR MAN could stake a claim here for the minor places, TEN GUN SALUTE looks a live wire especially over this distance but the questions for me were truly answered on JULY day and he's just not good enough to feature. CAPTAIN AMERICA looks a massive runner and on paper probably the one they all have to beat, that said I have reservations over this distance. So today I will go MARINARESCO to win X CAPTAIN AMERICA X BELA BELA X MATADOR MAN.

Race 8 NIGHTINGALE looks very hard to beat and a with a repeat of her last run will dispose of this field in no uncertain terms, she is a BANKER for everything and is probably the best bet on the card.

Race 9 sees DELPECH riding another favorite in the form of KAPEN PRIDE, I don't know what to make of this runner or even this field but again I think it's a race where you need to go with two or three runners or go very wide. Looks like DELPECH holds the key today for many punters.

Shortly thereafter SARATOGA DANCER (C Zackey) brushed the hindquarters of SAFE HARBOUR (N Juglall) which was turned inwards resulting in SARATOGA DANCER (C Zackey) losing position.
e) Jockey N Juglall signed an admission of guilt for a contravention of Rule 62.2.7, in that as the rider of SAFE HARBOUR, he failed to ensure that he did not cause interference to the runners on his inside at approximately the 1800 metre mark. He was suspended for a period of 7 days. (suspended from the 10 July 2017 – 16 July 2017, bdi)
f) At approximately the 1600 metre mark KRAMBAMBULI (A Domeyer) shifted inwards resulting in SAFE HARBOUR (N Juglall) and TEN GUN SALUTE (AUS) (W Marwing), becoming severely tightened for galloping room and making contact on a number of occasions.
g) Jockey A Domeyer signed an admission of guilt for a contravention of Rule 62.2.7, in that as the rider of KRAMBAMBULI, he failed to ensure that he did not cause interference to the runners on his inside at approximately the 1600 metre mark. He was suspended for a period of 10 days. (Suspended from the 05 July 2017 – 14 July 2017, bdi)
h) Approaching the 150 metre mark NIGHTINGALE (A Delpech) which was hanging out, shifted out, carrying TEN GUN SALUTE (AUS) (W Marwing) outwards resulting in SAFE HARBOUR (N Juglall) having to be eased off the heels of TEN GUN SALUTE (AUS) (W Marwing).

Deeno I get your point but the going just doesn't suite, to say "If the jockey can keep TGS out of trouble" is somewhat vague, that's like telling a Formula 1 driver to stay clear of trouble off the start, doesn't mean he's going to win the race, TGS is a great horse and I have utmost respect for him but he's just NEVER going to beat the likes of MARINARESCO, CAPTAIN AMERICA or BELA BELA, he's just not in the same class.

I do wish the best for you though and if he does come through and win then I'll be backing KEVIN MAGNUSSEN to win the Hungarian F1 tomorrow.

I backed him heavily for the VDJ from a big price, luckily I also backed the winner...

For today, I am doing e/w treble with The Byzanite, River Ayre and Lil Red Rooster
