Carte Blanche showed interview of Dr Makhosi Khoza lat night. What a honourable lady. Standing up for righteousness in the face of extreme adversity.
We all can take a leaf out her book, and those of Pravin Gordon and Mcebisi Jonas as well. These people are turning down fortunes that will set up their families for generations to come, because of their principles.
Truly inspiring that we still have leaders like these in our country.

....and I agree with you.
Here is my take...
I personally don't care if it's secret or not.
Conversely , I would have preferred an open vote.
Why?? cos it would give the ANC another 18 months to dig a bigger hole.
Let's say Zuma is ousted now, the ANC will still be in power...and it will give the ANC 18 months to get their house in order for the elections in 2019.

Zuma will survive
By Wednesday he will be knee deep in the muck robbing us all over again
Do you really think that (the ANC) turkeys will vote for Christmas?

According to my facts, the ANC has a 62.25 majority which amounts to 249 seats. In order for the vote to pass a majority of 50% +1 vote needs to be achieved. This amounts to all other parties voting yes as well as 33 of the 249 ANC MP's voting against Zuma.
Such stats are if every opposition MP votes against Zuma. Some parties do not think it is in the countries best interests to get rid of Zuma due to the economical mpact thereof. Despite the fact that Zuma and his mates may enjoy more time to line their pockets.
It is on this premise that I cannot see the motion being passed. Although it is possible, I can't see it happening. It's his 7th no confidence vote, a cat has 9 lives, how many does a snake have.

....I doubt that another 18 months of wholesale pilfering will do the country any good....and no matter who the ANC put in the breach if Zuma is ousted..... they are mostly all corrupt and have so much dirt on each other the back stabbing and internal power struggles will continue to see the ANC fracture.....if ZUMA is not ousted soon.... things are going to get much worse for the country and by 2019 we will all be in the big hole.....

Lets just think the best outcome
He gets the bullet and arrested for crimes
Cyril takes over brings back finance ministers and things would only get better rather than worse?
Ok dreaming, must go back to sleep and think about the atc with brexit, trump and zuma must go

Colin Dav, The opposition need 50 votes from the anc, not 33....
Cape Town – At least 50 of the ANC’s 249 MPs need to vote with the opposition to remove President Jacob Zuma from office on Tuesday.
That is if all opposition MPs also support the motion of no confidence in him.
Zuma has survived seven previous votes of no confidence.
Opposition leaders have said that 60 ANC MPs will support the motion. On Friday, ANC Chief Whip Jackson Mthembu rubbished these claims.

When is this vote?
The motion needs 50% of Members in attendance today to pass.
ANC can old field 247 members as two have died recently.
so quietly hopeful Zuma gets run close and shocks him into action.
