French Racing

Anyone understand the logic in horses with the same starting alphabet in their names entered in a race?

What I do know is that a champion horse will be making a return to action by the name of Almanzor tomorrow Tuesday 15 August 2017 at Deauville, France. Also another crack horse, Brametot will run in another race as well.

A true champion. The only horse Enable has to fear if he's back to himself.

All non-thoroughbreds (e.g. trotters) in France have to have a name beginning with a certain letter of the alphabet depending on the year in which they were foaled.

.....yes we expect too much from the tote operators who cannot seem to distinguish better class racing and schedule this into the program for increased betting to improve revenue(it is co-mingled anyway).....even if Cape racing goes ahead it would have been ideal to promote this better class venue.... :huh:
