I am so glad to be on sabbatical, since the reading is just not there --- no matter how you assess the race, something else always seems to beat you into 2nd or third. I am sure it will get better
Next race also seems a nightmare. the only thing to base any assessment on is Peggy's Dream. Having Kudra way down there at the bottom of the board definitely seems to muddy this somewhat - since Kudra was the horse I figure Peggy's Dream had to beat - besides skyfire. There really hasn't been anything I could risk on wager on yet though - don't leave out wonder worker - she has been favourably spotted of late, and this could be her moment.

Well done to all the guys who liked Kudra. I could not get myself to even consider the horse for a place

LOL, Kudra not even a nibble in the market and runs into third place, i think everybody here knew that horses wasn't a legitimate 40/1 shot
Would have made a nice double with Iced Up in the race before -- but they both just failed.

Next race I am sticking with Wild Wicket to beat Lala - only serious challenger possibly Secret Warning. Some cover on seventh Plain might be in order.

It's a pity Haupie -- If you had any liking for iced up in the race before, the long odds would not have put you off Kudra in this one. The fact that there was not even a nibble, oddly winspired a little confidence -- although right now I am not playing anything - since confidence is at all time low.
