GM All.. been so way off the mark lately - decided to rest up a bit, and reassess. My comments as a way to test the
waters once again.
Race 1: Turf Conqueror and Ratso Rizzo are above average maiden performers here. There is nothing to seperate them though, Turf Conqueror has had his problems on the two occassions at trying this trip and should win this race – unless there is very decent improvement from somewhere else
Race 2: While following Lucky At Last – would have much preferred to see this run at Scottsville again on the turf. If translating his ability to poly should be a winner. Shine Up should provide strong resistance, along with Chilli Affair. The performances from Turf Conqueror and Ratso Rizzo will be a pointer as to how to expect Chilli Affair to go here.
Race 3: This Race is too weak to be wagering money upon. Slight interest in Miss Ferris.
Race 4: Crystal Ball and Iced Up make strong claims here, but Ideal Winter does look to have the ability to improve and hold them at bay.
Race 5: This is a weak event. Skyfire sets the benchmark, with Kudra and Peggy’s Dream possibly improving enough to beat her. Wonder Worker is also in with a shout.
Race 6: All these contenders are very evenly matched.Secret Warning probably looks slightly stronger at this trip. There seems to be no reason why Mark My Card should not beat this field except that she has not impressed at three trips this C&D- and it’s perhaps just too short for her. Perhaps Wild Wicket can show the required improvement and match Secret Warning. Seventh Plain is an unknown quantity here
Race 7: Lil Gambler looks to have a chance in this weak event, but there are solid rivals all around. Princess Analia could win here if she copes strongly with the 1400m and Just Rap should be in the places.
Race 8: The race revolves around Miss Brody’s ability to stay the 1400m – Roy Is Second and Bella Miesque are evenly matched. Miss Brody should win this unless the extra 200m is too much.
Race 9: Roy’s Roll’s Royce looks the stronger, with Honest Prince. Race is quite weak and did not garner further interest.
I can only find potential value interests in Race 1 Turf Conqueror 8/1 and Race 8 Miss Brody 7/1
It would be nice to see Natie get his first winner with Lucky At Last --
