Thanks for the mention Nic.
However my stint as a rider lasted a little longer than that you mentioned.
2007 - 31 rides -11 wins. win%21 and 80% place.
2008 season only had 1 ride as I was struggling with my weight, that one won.
2009 season - 56 rides - 16 wins - 28% wins and 70% place.
I enjoyed race riding, I learned plenty but weight was my issue.

All the best John. Always enjoyed following your rides back then. Made some good tom as well. And dont worry about weight being an issue - the wife is always complaining about mine too!

all the best John. I know you rode a winner for myself & Frodo from the Magner stable.
the name escapes me, I will have it by tomorrow. Skipping home ? maybe.

Congrats - the first winner is special, I know some trainers who are really looking forward to theirs, and it's not easy --- takes some doing, hard work, stress, perseverance and faith in one's own judgment --well done.

Thank you for the well wishes. I couldn't have asked for a better start, but we all know the hard work starts now.
