Condoloces from Germany. he was one of the best jockeys in SAF in my opinon, and as i can judge form far, one of the really good guys. RIP Alec! I won't forget you.

Heard he was feeling fluish. Not the first time I am hearing of an athlete's fatality due to sport participation while having the flu. Really sad.

Both my boys are avid high school sportsman. As a rule, when they are unwell, they don't play or train. Full stop.

Absolutely shocked. A good sportsman in everyway. Remember him bringing home a treble for his stable last year.. N I was in da q.....

Lionel , you are correct in your advise, as i received this 2 weeks back in one of my whats group from a doctor.
