"Group" RESULTS - 'Afternoon' Monday 23 June Workings..

Afternoon,

This afternoon completed and went as follows..

The 1st runner we wanted 1.5 and with being around 1.63 on arrival and not dropping down to us at any stage, we all had to avoid the race. The runner was beaten by the only conceivable danger, so frustrating the price never dropped that bit more, but the way it goes and 'one that got away in hindsight'.....

The 2nd runner we wanted 2.8, but a non runner and 2.9% reduction meant we now wanted a lay price of 2.75. The price was around 2.44 on arrival and shortening all the time (went odds on), so we had a lay at 2.44 max. The lay came in 2nd and so a good result......

The 3rd runner we wanted 1.46 and with being around 1.65 on arrival and then dropping down to us and slightly beyond, we had a lay at 1.46 max. The lay went and won, so the way it goes......

The 4th and final runner we wanted 2.5 and with being around 2.26 on arrival and shortening, we had a lay at around 2.26 max. The lay looked in trouble a couple of times, but knuckled down to get the win and so the way it goes. Only traders playing though and they easily got their trade back prices in running, so got away with it...

WELL PLAYED..

'Rolling' strategy/target players (no 'free' lays for them) didn't get no play and so they look towards this evening's racing..

'Bank builder' strategy/target players also had no play and so they too will look ahead to this evening..

'Traders' had to concede a little on the 3rd runner at 1.46 max, but all others see them either win or break level, so they end around levels and that's not too bad with 50% winners...

So no strategy play this afternoon, but we'll go into this evening and see what it brings. Speak soon...

Good morning,

The races, runners and prices, to work around for this afternoon's session..

2.15 Lingfield. TIMETEAM (1.63)

Our price 8/11 (1.727) and so no bets can be advised at current odds. If we see 1.5 or under we'll go in for a lay. *Please note that a 'little' more emphasis has had to go on the early markets for clues concerning this race*

2.30 Wolverhampton. DRIZZI (2.8)

Our price 21/10 (3.1) and so a LAY is the call at current odds. We'd lay up to 2.8 or under. *Please note that a 'little' more emphasis has gone on the early markets for clues concerning this race*

4.00 Wolverhampton. PREDICT (1.64)

Our price 4/6 (1.67) and so no bets can be advised at current odds. If we see 1.46 or under we'll go in for a lay. *Traders be aware, that although she's lightly raced, she has shown she can lead in her races and so no surprise to see the same tactics applied for this race - Also please note that more emphasis has had to go on the early markets for clues concerning this race*

4.15 Lingfield. MASTER OF ARTS (2.34)

Our price 9/5 (2.8) and so a LAY is the call at current odds. We'd lay up to 2.5 or under.

All the races were priced up with non runners taken into account, up until 09.53am.

That's what we have to work around for this afternoon then. Just the 4 to work around and that spells no play for 5 runner strategists, and with it being a very tough looking 4, it may end up being a blessing that we get no action. Anyhow, let's hope it goes as well as can be as we keep our discipline to the maximum and take advantage of any prices that come our way. Good luck and speak soon with this evening's workings..
