TAB only rewards the high rollers !!!!!!

......received this SMS yesterday.....Stand a chance to win a VIP trip for 2 to the Dester Singapore Gold Cup. Bet the most money online with TAB on Singapore racing from 1Sept-15 Oct to win.

.....wonder by how much the pools will increase..... :huh:

....yeah do they actually monitor bets and audit results.....or just fork over the prize to the favorite of their high rollers....or even one of their chums..... :huh:

.....since the inception of this competition I notice that the trifecta payouts are not as good as they used to be.....have not been checking to see how the pools have been affected..... but do notice that trifecta payouts are being affected.....would seem that (a) high roller/s could be hitting this bet and collecting when connecting..... :S

I am no high roller but the Friday before in Singapore Race 2 the Trifecta paid R5253. The horses that ran first and third was listed as first timers and was well backed so their barrier trials must have been really good (Note horses that ran in other countries before will be listed as first timers and runners making their debut). The biggest outsider ran second. Dont want to be ARM but I did catch the Trifecta twice but played it in the books.

I have noticed in the last two weeks on Tabonline shows the Quartet Pool of Hong Kong on their Odds Screen as well as our Quartet pool. Will the Quartet Pool be commingled soon. Time will tell.

.....I'm a small punter but big racing enthusiast my layout is dependent on payout....and this particular race is a classic example....as I backed the 2nd horse for places @R20/drum and caught swingers with the winner only based on their pedigree and not form nor jockey or betting
....but I believe that the trifecta should have paid more as TF was not in the places and a rank outsider @ ZAR20/place in 2nd place..... :huh:
