(Andrew Harrison: 3-2-5-7).

Delpech rides and he must come into any equation. AMRITSAR was not far back on debut when starting at long odds. He can come on from that showing. (Andrew Harrison: 6-7-13-5).

.

Today's card represents some of the weakest fields presented in some time. Look for market support on lightly raced horses aand you might do well.

Exquisite Eight looks the better of the two with connect me - but neither looks to set the tracks alight, and both getting beat wouldn't surprise me. Twice as smart could be there on the run behind Marsala - and if finding about 2.5 Lengths on that effort.

Champenois comes into play off some very strong indicators after the scratching of Love Theme, on paper Meet The Logans looks to have the edge - but there is a buzz of expectation and perseverance about Champenois, and the tweaks might make the difference here. Champenois should be too good -- I wouldn't mind Degas to upset them all.

Champenois beat girl in gold soundly. Girl in Gold beat Meet the Logans soundly. Fully expecting Champenois to win easily here.

Taranaki well supported From 20 -10 LR, flying finish , and should just get up to beat Lucky Veil.
had some interest pre-race around he's got gears and Shantytown, with Royal Rustler. The market not touching the first two , and Royal Rustler could still surprise depending how that Polytrack form translates - wasn't the best polytrack effort I've seen, and Lucky Veil should have him held on class. Lucky Veil ticks all the boxes here and will only be beaten by Natural Improvement from the others.
Throughout these races though, anything with a little ability could pop up and beat these moderate horses - which makes the kind of returns on offer not attractive.
The betting move on Taranaki debut is indicative of inside information, today's betting move is more indicative of a crowd frenzy - so Lucky Veil the one to beat.
