"Group" RESULTS - 'Afternoon' Tuesday 24 June Workings..

Afternoon,

This afternoon's session completed, and went as follows..

The 1st runner we wanted 2.0 and with being around 2.24 on arrival and not coming down to us at any stage, we all had to avoid the race. The runner came in 2nd after a close battle, so heart attack saved, but 'one that got away in hindsight'...

The 2nd runner we wanted 1.3 and with being around 1.37 on arrival and then dropping down to us and slightly beyond, we had a lay at 1.3 max. The lay had to work hard, but got the win well enough and so the way it goers. Traders easily got their trade back prices in running, so got away with it...

The 3rd runner we wanted 3.1 and with being around 3.05 on arrival, we had a lay at 3.05. The price then drifted out to our own price of 3.4 and beyond, so a chance for a 'free' lay for traders and builders. The lay/trade went and won, so the way it goes but glad of the 'free' lay now.......

The 4th runner we wanted 2.0 and with being around 1.97 on arrival, we had a lay at 1.97. The lay had to work hard, but got the win and so the way it goes. Traders easily got their trade back prices in running, so got away with it....

The 5th runner was a non runner, so on to the next runner..

The 6th runner we wanted 3.0 and with being a well supported 2.4 on arrival, we had a lay at 2.4. The price then drifted out to our own price of 3.3 and beyond, so a chance for traders and builders to have a 'free' lay. The lay/trade was beaten and so a good result...

The 7th runner we wanted 2.7 and with being around 3.75 on arrival and only getting bigger, we never see our lay price at any stage, so all had to avoid the race. The runner was beaten and so the drift more than justified and 'one that got away in hindsight'....

The 8th runner we wanted 1.6 and with being around 1.76 on arrival and not coming down to us at any stage at all, we all had to avoid the race. The runner came in 2nd after a close finish, so heart attack saved, but 'one that got away in hindsight'..........

The 9th and final runner we wanted 3.3, and with being around 3.7 on arrival and not coming down to us, it was a race to avoid for all. The runner went and won, so a nice priced winner, but more importantly a good leave.....

WELL PLAYED/BATTLED......................(3 from the first 4 (75%) went and won - 4 from the 8 (50%) in total (1 Nr) So a tough start and although we recovered, we couldn't quite get the money this session)

'Rolling' strategy/target players (no 'free' lays for them) Had to concede 1 target........They started their 1st strategy/target on the 2nd runner and after a battle they went to their 5th and final lay (the runner) to recoup around a target, but a no bet race meant they had to concede 1 target on the session...

'Bank building' strategy/target players had their 1st lay (the 2nd runner) at 1.3 max, but a poor result see them go behind early......They then had a 'free' lay (the 3rd runner) which only bought relief..........Then came their 2nd lay (the 4th runner) at 1.97, but a poor result see them give a bit more away..............They then had a 'free' lay that bought a tiny profit..........That's where they ended it and so they battle their way through to concede 0.5 of a target..

'Traders' either won or broke level on all their trades, so well played guys..

So that tough early spell put us on the back foot, and mix that with those annoying drifters it was a tough session. Only minimal damage though, so no problem and we'll move on to this evening. Speak soon with this evening's workings..

Our price 13/10 (2.3) and so a LAY is the call at current odds. We'd lay up to 2.0 or under. *Please note, that although he can race a few ways, it wouldn't be any surprise to see him lead, or race very prominent this afternoon*

4.30 Brighton. CHOREOGRAPHY (3.25)

Our price 13/5 (3.6) and so a LAY is the call at current odds. We'd lay up to 3.3 or under.

All the races were priced up with non runners taken into account, up until 10.00am.

That's our work for this afternoon then. Yet again we're faced with a tricky and testing session with that unexposed nature leaving us vulnerable to big drifters and gambles, but yet again we have just about enough about us to warrant going into battle. Discipline to the maximum and take advantage of any prices that come our way. Good luck and speak soon with this evening's workings..
