I remember Divine Act won a race by lengths and a filly called Lupine Lady won her debut by 13.5 I think for Pat Shaw at Clairwood(could have been Scottsville)

and there were many streets at the old Vaal Sand and also some Flamingo in the Miller era

Chris do you know which sprinter had colours similar to the one i describe,could have been black with white spots (early 70s)

Was just about to say, if this is officially the biggest winning margin, well done to all concerned. However the above post would suggest it's not. Either way, it was good to watch and something the young jockey will remember for the rest of his life.

Guessing has never been widely acclaimed as a good gambling strategy.
