50.8 No PERSON shall enter or start a HORSE for or in a RACE if such HORSE is or has been
50.8.1 at a REGISTERED spelling farm at any time during a period of 14 DAYS prior to a RACE
or
50.8.2 at an unregistered spelling farm or a stud farm at any time during a period of 30 DAYS prior
to a RACE.

Someone pointed out to me that a certain trainer had 2 horses scratched today for this rule - They are both owned by the same person - I am just speculating here but could it be that both horses were based on a farm somewhere (maybe the owner looked after them and trained them ) and then were just sent to the races under this trainer's name? The facts are limited at this point but I assume the stipes(It was a stipe that scratched them) will investigate to rule out under the lap training - Very strange indeed

VERY KEEN to read the stipes report tomorow regarding this and watch how this incident will be kept under the lap
