PLEASE EXPLAIN HOW ORO NEGRO HAS a chance on handicaping in race 5?

Persist with the horse at 1400m and 1600m, First time out over longer 1800 , horse has never been backed at anything less than 66/1 , but starts at 5/1 and wins going away. Today has a very low weight , and would not surprise me to see it in the placings over 2000m. Ordinarily trainers might push their maiden winner into a weak handicap if it was still in shape , and use stronger races to bring the horse back into shape if it wasn't. In this horses case there doesn't seem to be any need to stay under the radar in a high level handicap, since it's already had two very poor subsequent runs. On the other hand this might just be poor training, given the 1.9% strike rate of the stable - which is hard to believe since they got that 1800m race spot on. Hence i give it a chance, it could also flop hopelessly of course.

Adams just a heads up, Man eater has got Giants causeway in her blood, that suggests she's looking for this trip if not further

I like a bit of the 10/1 on offer with striker in race 5. Could be a real Fortune Fella today jockey strike and pacifiers on.

cannot say anything about the next race - I liked Beautiful Shay - but not as favourite, with 70% against.

The only scenario where Oro Negro (1 win and 0 places out of 16 runs and 10 kgs out at the weights) would have even a remote chance, would be if experienced jocks like Strydom gets the pace totally wrong - not too much chance of that happening imo

Thanks for that --- I didn't get into the full pedigree, but thought there would be that somewhere in the blood - since they trying it at the trip.

I won't dispute that, just giving a chance since I like to look for spooks - would I back this horse to win , or even place --- absolutely not.
