Facebook should be renamed Fakebook and here's why

Facebook is the place where thinking goes to die

All the time people used to waste reading newspapers and books, well now they sharing. Is it not great that all facebookers share :sick:

Bugs me that facebook took that word and rat fucked it.

Sharing as i recall it meant actually giving something of yours to another like at school when one kid forget or did not have lunch you shared yours, now sharing is showing a picture of your lunch. I have got food and you dont.

Facebook sharing is not sharing, its mostly humble bragging "so embarressed that there is a hole in my jeans now my 10 inch penis is showing. Its a lot of that bullshit and its a healthy amount of here's something I want you to know i have , like look at me, look how talented my kids are, look at my football tickets i have, look i am in Australia and you in debt. But what really bugs me about facebook is when people say how gorgeous or great people in a pic look but in reality they still look like shit.

CnC I stopped going on FB and a lot of my mates..the videos they allow of puppies being tortured and mutilated are unacceptable..I have tried in many many ways to stop them allowing it but no good..its a disgrace.

I did have a facebook page but deactivated my account a few years ago as I got tired of friends posting those sticky’s about smile you alive and don’t eat this or that etc etc The final straw was when an ex girlfriend commented how nice I looked in a pick and that I I still looked the same, fuck off who looks the same after 25 years even if your face is full of Botox. As Oscar says too much crap going on without any censorship

I cancelled facebook quite soon after I joined as I found being "poked" just wasnt the same

Never did FB. ABC is my only social media site.
