quite a statement you made with your assesment of a 6 to 8 week suspension for the ride, would you care to maybe elaborate as to just how you came to that conclusion or was it just another of your thumb suck quotations along the same lines as the vee moodley phone call saga

Me come to that conclusion is as follows this is not the first time he has been called in for hooking a horse so to speak or the first time he has been given time for hooking a horse! You know that hell the whole world knows that, 2 months sounds a hell of lot better then 6. I feel its a just fine. Remember one think they cant just let it go have to keep a standard because if he gets away with it hell it will become a free for all. You are only talking from your heart hell you cant bite the hand thats feeding you can you? And as for my ask vee moodley , I know who listed the complained to start off with! And trust me when you find out who the legal man who did so you will find it hard to swallow trust me.

I'm still trying to get my head around a 35% win record and 'hooking-up'.

I'm absolutely convinced that if you looked at any number of races on any amount of days you could find an 'appearance' of 'hooking up' by several different Jockeys - whether they actually are, or not is the R64,000 question.

I suppose, if there are strange betting patterns accompaning said 'appearance', then the probabilty of 'hooking up' is increased.

However even then, it still doesn't make it so!

So those that are quick to judge, and deny someone their livelihood, imo must dot the i's and cross the t's before condeming then to such a harsh punishment.

I seem to remember a number of people wanting to 'hang' Fallon, over so called info and stoping Horses etc. As you know he was completely exonerated.

Gin and Moronic lets just put the record straight... directly after the race in question Dudley Veldtman called Andrew in and advised him that an inquiry would be opened into the ride....it had sweet F/A to do with your bullshit phone call to Vee....the only thing that i find hard to swallow is the garbage that you insist on posting...untrue unfounded and uncalled for...

I have watched races for more years than I wish to remember. Also grew up in the "good old days"when everbody stopped horses and set them up to punt. The clever small punters followed the money but remember to do so you had to be on course.
A joke was that when a jockey gave a horse an "easy"he did it on stable instructions not for reward from a bookmaker, except for a few jockeys all known to be thieves. These guys would invariably get caught and given time when innocent and just having ridden a poor race.I really don't believe there are many crookies at present.
In Cape Town at present the unfortunate system is that a first timer who runs at Kenilworth has never seen the course and if it has galloped it has been around a turn at Durbanville. Not easy to try a horse.
