GSB acquires promising Mrs O

GREEN Street Bloodstock has acquired the lightly-raced Oratorio-filly Mrs O, a two-time winner from four starts, and Gr2 placed.

Justin Vermaak commented: “We are very excited to have done this deal for our owners and to get her as part of the GSB string. We’re always trying to compete at the highest levels. A few months ago we bought Sea King to run in the three-year-old colt’s features and now we’ve got Mrs O to represent us in the three-year-old fillies’ features.

“I spotted Mrs O when she ran a cracking second behind top older filly Bella Sonata in the Gr2 Joburg Fillies Challenge. She defeated Rockin Russian fair and square whose got Gr1 form and I have her running to a merit rating of about 102.

“If Mrs O can fulfil this kind of potential going forward she is going to be very competitive in the three-year-old fillies features, including the Triple Tiara races. I’d like to thank Mike and Adam Azzie very much for working us into a deal with this filly so we can race at the highest level.”
