As a young boy I could not wait for racing at Greyville. Sadly racing at Greyville these days are extreamly poor with little or no excitement! Have fun, I will go watch my grass grow.

Looks like another uninteresting day at Greyville --- mostly favorites or short priced second fancies - not much to play with.


Race 1: Two horses City Of Stars and Breaking Barriers were nominated here out of the Bridal Veil run on Polytrack. Breaking Barriers reserve won't participate, City Of Stars remains - having gone in all the wrong directions since that run, penny seems to have dropped that the horse needs the 1200m Polytrack. Downside is the stable - which cannot be backed with confidence. Leaving us to rely on the very weak Meet The Logans --- hence there is no value in the this race , unless one wants to have a stab at runner from an under performing stable with her best jockey taking the ride. - City Of Stars

Am taking the favourite on with
Number 1 ARRAN ISLES

Race 2: Looking past the favourite , I had a brief look at Mambo Rock, on that run behind Amor Ardiente, and would have liked it's chances back 200m - but the stable hasn't had a winner this season, and starts at R33.00 once again stuck with a short priced favourite.
