Fancy the double :-

R6) Lindley's Lane X (R8) Big Pleasure

Just ironic that these races will be consecutive because of their times, see if you can spot the association, if you have the time :-

Turf R4) San Fermin X (Ken R3) The Sun Also Rises

I am not superstitious type, played it out of curiosity.

No Bayern you got me , Sab Fermin is a Spanish week long festival - other than that Drakenstien owns one and bred one. Othere than that got no idea .

Good bet you will get a run for your money

San Fermin is the festival of the running of the bulls in Pamplona. Ernest Hemingway wrote the book The Sun Also Rises, and it is reported as a journalist he made various visits to Pamplona and that he was also deeply fond of bullrunnings and bullfights, but he did not participate in the running.

Just some useless information.

Good bet you will get a run for your money

Race 1: Love Triangle needed his last run badly. Will still need this one, and further, but expect improvement. Inertia is the one to beat- main dangers Nauticus and Washington Square.
Race 2: very open. Dayonaut is consistent. Shadow Warrior good ew value at 8/1.
Race 3: The Sun Also Rises looks the right one despite the wide draw. Captain Ram has good form. Power Tower perhaps found 2000m a bit far at this stage, and should be respected over this trip. Roman Flyer fair debut and should show good improvement.
Race 4: Strawberry Fire will relish this trip and could be the one with natural improvement. Franking the main danger. Valentines Girl, Kamaishi and Amarosa for the quartet.
Race 5: Very open race.
Race 6: Any of my three runners can win this. Step Out injured herself last time in a feature race- she may need this slightly, but is classy and I believe better than her current rating. Sylvanite off form last two, but working well and is well in here if regaining her best form. Freedom Charter outclassed in Gr 2 company last time. May be a bit high in the ratings, but has scope for improvement. Another open race.
Race 7: Abashiri ran an excellent race last time at the weights and likely to come on further - has an awful draw but a massive runner off a MR 109- he is much better than that at best. Girl on the Run my value ew bet and swinger these two.
Race 8: Very tricky race to end the day. I fancied I Travel Light last time, but the 1400m was too short. My first choice again - will enjoy this trip and should be cherry ripe 3rd run back from a break. Loadshedder must be respected if regaining his Winter series form. Big Pleasure has plenty scope for improvement and won a good race last time.
Race 9: Gimme Katrina or else the field.

Thanks PeterD.

Inertia is already backed which should push Washington Square out in the betting.
My double is WS onto Franking.

all the best with your runners

Anyone else think Fourie may have a few winners since it's his birthday? Last birthday boy rode a roughie to victory. Byleveld on Zeb, if anyone remembers lol
