Is including more than 3 horse in a p.a. leg wise?

Is playing a 20% p.a. for R100,00 wise.

Is playing 3 or more bankers wise?

Which construction is most feasible.

Personally dont play the P.A. often, BDB, but when i do, prefer to take a straight line, 100 x.
But Yeldah is the P.A. king, maybe he might advise us.

There is no such thing as a 'right' construction BDB.In my opinion it card should be played on it's merits.I personally look for 'safe' legs where I can go short, and then will often take many runners in a leg I am simply looking to survive(because I want to get to the leg where I may fancy my 5-1 banker to arrive and hopefully beat the short prices favourite for examply).I took field in the last leg the other day and came through 3/11 runners, but it was a 1/10 result so I nearly trebled my return simply on that leg.I just had no idea what took take,so I took them all.

Play each perm on it's merits, and that means each leg.I never work out what the perm costs,I simply spend whatever I have designated as my spend for that bet and move on to the next one.

Agree with JAP.

I look at all the legs, decide on my bankers [whether they are 1/10 or 10/1] and take the perm.

The one thing that never bothers me is if I think a horse is a PA banker, and he is 20/1 with a 7/10 favourite in the race, the 20/1 horse is my banker.

Alternatively, if a 7/10 horse, on my form study comes out as a clear banker, a banker it shall be.

I have confidence in my bankers, and structure my perm around those horses.

Regards
