Competition Results

Once again an enjoyable competition hosted by ABC...{warm round of applause for Dave and Bob}.. and again thanks for all that entered.

A BIG Thank You to the Sham's for the R2000 sponsorship. {another warm round of applause}

Although it was a 'Winner take all' donation I hope they dont mind if I just add it to the pool and distribute as such.

The pool was 21 entries x R200 plus R2000 ...

And the winners were ...

In third place and 10% of the pool.......PeterD .... Well done.
In second place and 20% of the pool..... Len Sham... Well done
And the winner, and the only positive balance was errrrr... Magi {blushes}

PeterD and Len .... I THINK I have your bank details .. I will check tonight and then sort.

Alongside that competitiion we had the Wrinkle competition which was played for a stake of R1050.

The winner was..another errrrr...Magi

There was also a bonus fof $250's worth of bitcoin for anyone who could scoop both prizes outright .... well that saves me having to transfer BTC>

Once again thanks to all who took part. We will aim for the Queens Plate and Sun Met days again. Please let me know what you thought of the Wrinkle bet.... did it add value and a little bit of thought?

For me, firstly the 'double-header' is a no-no - I was not interested in the Cape leg, so sat out on the Summer Cup as well ....

Secondly, the 'wrinkle' adds too much of a 'lucky strike' to the competition.

So would prefer a return to the old simple format - 1 meeting, 1 competition

I didn't take part but agree with your sentiments. Also sat out as I refuse to get involved with all the centers and thus don't play the Cape.

I however feel Magi's double header could be intriguing if say all in the same province. Just an idea maybe a triple header over the three legs of the triple crown?
