Noble Tune, who stands at Rathmor Stud in KZN, sired Lot 197, Streets Of Fire, a filly from three-time winning stayer Avenue Of Gold, by Albert Hall, raised at Ascot Stud.

Dr Ashley Parker of Ascot Stud said of Streets Of Fire: “She’s a beautiful filly from a half-sister to Gr1 Guineas winner Elusive Gold, who was exported to Hong Kong. She comes from one of our best families.”

Streets Of Fire, whose damline reflects such illustrious names as Enchanted Garden, Captive Prince and Captain Ekels, is described as “a big strong filly, a great walker who scored 9 out of 10 from the yearling inspectors.”

.....imo this catalog is not as strong as past sales.....and jooste may have left their board and company.... but it was his buying power that was concentrated at CTS that was key for them to stay sustainable......we all saw how the median and average price fell at TBA/BSA last 2yr old sale....I dont think prices will be any better.....

so ... I wonder why Mayfair do not have a dispersal sale linked to this? I would love to see an auction where the spotlight is on every transaction and those ghost bidders cannot bid - The man was behind a sales company that pushed prices to records and made stallion covers a lucrative payoff- I would love to see that vehicle used to sell his horses to see what the market sans Mayfair value them at

.....why should they....Klawervlei have a few other investor/shareholders besides Jooste involved.....their draft represents almost 30% of all horses on sale.....the major shareholders at CTS..... are not throwing in the towel according to their last meeting where Jooste resigned.... .these very same people are also heavily invested at Klawervlei.... so why would they want to pull out....they need to keep the wheels turning so the juice still keeps flowing....
