Another howling South-Easter forecast for tomorrow.
Race 1: Prince Oracy went close last time and Domeyer retains the ride. Should win this. Royal Marine has decent form and should challenge. Dynasty’s Boy fair debut and has been priced up favourite - must respect but I would prefer him over further. Robert Frost is improving, but the stable jockey has elected to go with first timer Bwana- include both in quartets.
Race 2: Loadshedder is the class horse and is the one to beat. Seattle Sound can go close with his low weight, but any of the 3yos could show sufficient improvement here.
Race 3: Psychic ran a good race when returning from a break and if repeating is the one to beat. Earl of Warwick, Power of Peace and Robin Jack Twig all capable of improvement. I have Love Triangle running- needed his two sprints after a wind op, and should improve this trip. A nice roughie for quartets.
Race 4: Rubyana has been dropped 10 lb since her last run- returns from a long break, but very well in at the weights if fit. Anina improved nicely last start and if repeating is in with a good chance. The well bred Perfectproportions should relish the step up in trip and has been understandably priced up favourite, but not much value at the price. Blue Flower good debut and will also enjoy this trip- she could also be anything.
Race 5: Slight preference for Kampala Campari in a closely handicapped race.
Race 6: Adam Marcus must have spoken nicely to the handicapper, as another of his runners- Elusive Touch returns from a break with a 10lb drop in rating. Again, if fit is well in. Bushy Park and Travel in Style should be in the shake- up, and Lindleys Lane and Dubai Queen have fair form.
Race 7: Big Mistake ran a cracker in the sales race, and is clearly better than his rating. Banker and best bet on the card at current odds of 2/1. Purple Mountain should earn a cheque.
Race 8: I liked the way Royal Sensation won on debut, and she is my pick in a competitive race.
Race 9: Spring Man will be hard to beat and could be another banker. Man about Town, Dance a Jig and Middlemarch the main dangers.
