This could be a card of attrition, the entire day for punters versus the bookies hinging squarely on the outcomes of races 2 and 3. Because the odds in these two races are somewhat prohibitive, many will be using these two as a spring-board into larger multiples, I intend to anyway. If one of the two gets beat or both, then the bookies have their post Sun Met holidays paid for. Conversely, if these two arrive, the flood gates could open for the punters - big time.
Guessing has never been widely acclaimed as a good gambling strategy.

Admittedly, I am playing to beat Sand And Sea with Bold Respect. I've gone with Bold Respect the treble, and Princess Vicky the quad. The thing that puts me off Sand And Sea, besides being on the short side in the betting, he must first reproduce that juvenile form before I will follow him with some confidence. There's just no guarantee he will do that, and until such time, I think he is worth opposing. He was beaten by some average sorts last time out at 6/10, he may still win comfortably tomorrow, but I'll take him on.

R2 Pacific Trader should come home lonely but the jockey aboard him imo seem to be unreliable!

Pointer Tero, even if the trainer has to swing a leg over should there be no substitute jockey available

i am also going the Bold respect route. Brett was very bullish the last time.
Also make Intothelimelight the one to beat in the 5th

Race 5 - Dynasty's Blossom 7/2
You could say she's been disappointing judging by her consecutive places before finally cracking her maiden but I think she's a staying type. Very impressive win LTO combined with blinkers, she justified the support. Seems still a bit underrated off her current rating and she's also Cape Derby entered so there's reason to think she should be very competitive in this contest.
Race 7 - Dutch Phillip 4/1, Mujaafy 7/1
Dutch Phillip showed why he was champion 2yo colt with a cracking performance behind the high class Silicone valley. The latter didn't disgrace himself in the LQP last weekend. Of course he's out at the weights with the top class trip to heaven but he's still improving.
Mujaafy is still learning and he will be much better down the line when he matures. I don't think 1000m is his trip but 1200m will be much more to his liking. He has tons of ability, race may be coming too soon - its only his fifth start but as I said he's got tons of class.

Put your money where your mouth is (Brian), show us your bets, you made a similar assertion in the Miss Kaitlin race last week Friday.
Moral of the story, even the blind squirrel finds a nut once in a while.
