The Past

When recalling the past we often remember all the champions both equine and human. This morning I recalled some other names from the past and the contribution they had to my experience in horse racing.
1: Brutus (trained by stanley ferreira)
2: sorevof (june casey-sean tarry)
3: the sasso brothers
4: Des Renou
5: Ian Lightfoot
6: Willy Figueroa
7: Frikkie Vermaak (spent many nights with him and his wife at Q's)
8: Donavan Habib (spent many nights with him and his wife at Q's as well as a lauran Branighan concert)
9: Gerrit Viljoen ( if you had seen him ride you would know how good he was)
10: Danie Burger
11: Andre Kotze
12: Sloop
13: Kadarko (won the sa derby at turfs)
14: Kushkina ( won for me on my birthday and with Jeff Lloyd on unbelievable)
15: Raymond Rhodes
16: Len Smart
17: Les Kourie
18: Jose Maciel
19: David Ferraris
20: Gary Molloy
