"Group" RESULTS - 'Evening Session' Monday 30 June Workings.

Evening,

This evening completed and went as follows..

The 1st runner we wanted 2.4 and with being around 2.46 on arrival and then dropping down to us and beyond, we had a lay at 2.4 max. The lay was beaten and so a good result.....

The 2nd runner we wanted 3.5 and with being around 3.35 on arrival and slightly shorter, we had a lay at 3.35 max. The lay went and won, so the way it goes.........

The 3rd runner we wanted 2.5 and with drifting to around 2.65 on arrival and not coming back down to us, race to racers had to avoid the race. The runner was beaten and so the drift beat race to racers to the punch. Grr! Early traders happy though.......

The 4th runner we wanted 2.7 and with being around 2.9 on arrival and then dropping down to us, we had a lay at 2.7 max. The price then drifted back out the other way and to our own price of 3.0 and above, so a chance for traders and builders to have a 'free' lay. The lay/trade went and won, so the way it goes, but glad of the 'free' lay now..........

The 5th runner was a non runner, so on to the next....

The 6th runner we wanted 2.5 and with being around 2.74 on arrival and then tumbling down to us and beyond, we had a lay at 2.5 max. The lay was beaten and so a good result.......

The 7th and final runner we wanted 3.5, but a non runner and 6.9% reduction meant we now wanted a lay price of 3.32 (3.3 nearest exchange price). The price was around that and slightly shorter on arrival, so we had a lay at 3.3 max. The lay was beaten after a battle, so a good result......

WELL PLAYED/BATTLED.............(2 from the first 4 (50%) went and won - So a tough start, but we came through it well enough to get the money or break level at worst, so well played)

'Rolling' strategy/target players (no 'free' lays for them) Ended Level.........They started their 1st strategy/target on the 1st runner and after a very good start, they then had a couple of bad result and ended needing a tiny bit on their 5th and final lay (the 7th runner) at 3.3 and with getting a good result they walk away levels..

'Bank building' strategy/target players had their 1st lay (the 1st runner) at 2.4 max and a good result see them win a chunk of their targets....They then had their 2nd lay (the 2nd runner) at 3.35, but a poor result see them go around levels, or slightly beyond.........Then came a 'free' lay (the 4th runner) that bought sheer relief.............They then had their 3rd lay (the 6th runner) at 2.5 max and a good result see 4 runner builders hit their targets....

5 runner builders were now level and with just the one potential lay remaining and no room at all for error, they take the levels as always advised....

Bank builder 4 runner strategy/target. £400 bank. Max 25% target £100

1st lay £100 to win as much of the £100 target @ 2.4 max. Result positive. Win £71

Total bank now £471

2nd lay £157 to win the remaining £29 @ 3.35 max. Result negative. Lose £68

Total bank now £403

'Free' lay bought no free profit, only relief.

Total bank remains £403

3rd lay £201 to win the remaining £97 @ 2.5 max. Result positive. Win £97

Total bank now £500

Overall result. Target hit.

Bank builder 5 runner strategy/target. £400 bank. Max 25% target £100

1st lay £80 to win as much of the £100 target @ 2.4 max. Result positive. Win £57

Total bank now £457

2nd lay £114 to win the remaining £43 @ 3.35. Result negative. Lose £101

Total bank now £356

'Free' lay bought no free profit, only relief.

Total bank remains £356

3rd lay £118 to recoup the £44 @ 2.5 max. Result positive. Win £44

Total bank now £400

That's where they left it with being level and only one potential lay left and no room at all for any error now.

Overall result. Levels.

'Traders' had to concede a little on the 2nd runner at 3.35 max, but all others see them win a bit or break level, so all in all they finish around levels and so well battled...

So 4 runner builders get the wages and that was a very good effort. 5 runner builders break level and again not a bad effort with 50% winners early. Rollers . Speak in the morning guys..

Afternoon,

The workings for this evening's racing as follows.

6.40 Windsor. LIKE FOR LIKE (2.46)

Our price 17/10 (2.7) and so no bets can be advised at current odds. If we see 2.4 or under we'll go in for a lay. *Traders be aware that, although lightly raced, she has shown speed to suggest she can race prominently this evening - Also please note that more emphasis has had to go on the early markets for clues concerning this race*

6.55 Musselburgh. KYBER (3.35)

Our price 14/5 (3.8) and so a LAY is the call at current odds. We'd lay up to 3.5 or under.

7.10 Windsor. GREEN LAGONDA (2.7)

Our price 9/5 (2.8) and so no bets can be advised at current odds. If we see 2.5 or under we'll go in for a lay.

7.25 Musselburgh. RACCOON (2.78)

Our price 2/1 (3.0) and so no bets can be advised at current odds. If we see 2.7 or under we'll go in for a lay. *Traders be aware that he likes to lead, or race prominently in his races*

7.40 Windsor. CAPUCCI (2.14)

Our price 13/10 (2.3) and so no bets can be advised at current odds. If we see 2.0 or under we'll go in for a lay.

7.55 Musselburgh. MINTOE (2.72)

Our price 9/5 (2.8) and so no bets can be advised at current odds. If we see 2.5 or under we'll go in for a lay. *Traders be aware, that although lightly raced, he did show speed to lead on debut, so may try and adopt the same tactics again this evening - Also please note that a little more emphasis has gone on the early markets for clues concerning this race*

9.25 Musselburgh. JANE OF ARC (3.3)

Our price 14/5 (3.8) and so a LAY is the call at current odds. We'd lay up to 3.5 or under. *Traders be aware that she likes to lead or race prominently in her races*

All the races were priced up with non runners taken into account, up until 17.29pm

That's our work for this evening then. Again looking tough and testing, but we do have enough within our armoury to warrant going into battle, so discipline to the maximum and take advantage of any prices that come our way. Good luck and speak soon..
