Racial transformation in SA Racing?

ok so i started out thinking why is Samual Mosia still a work rider and not like Hewitson an Appie.

ended up looking at the top 50 jockeys/trainers/owners and found this.

No trainers in the top 50 are not white. so ZERO %
No owners in the top 50 are black. so ZERO %
1 Jockey in the top 30 are black.
3 jockeys in the top 40 are black
6 jockeys in the top 50 are black

so why not give Samual Mosia a crack as an appie??

On a serious note - I would think that a person of your experience(and there are lots of others that have given up training or riding) could be used to set up some sort of assistant trainers course where interested people can attend without having to know someone in the game - Who knows if there are any young black(or any colour), people out there that might want a training career but can't get in because they don't have an inside angle - Also as in other fields people with experience that have decided to retire are used as mentors - It would be nice to have a FORMAL mentorship program for young riders and trainers - It was not long ago that trainer Paul Peters thanked Mr Ferraris for helping him with his Mambo horse and Peters is not a youngster but still learnt from that wise traiiner
