de Kock Senior in my opinion is better now than before, his best years are ahead

I beg my own pardon, our very own Goosen is the best in SA

MDK yard having great season, just not landing the Grade 1 races at the moment.
Delpech makes a huge difference when he rides for them.

Over the Met weekend got together a few times with old [very]friends
The 5 of us have over 200 years of punting and talked about top trainers and jockeys
that we have known

Jockeys Wright Cawcutt Abercrombie Patmore Coetzee Leisher Marcus x 2

In the end the concensus was that it was all about the horse !!
In other words there were many other good trainers and jockeys who did not have the
owners to supply the stock and in the case of jockeys riding for the top stables or owners

Today all the successful stables have numbers 120 plus horses and get 50 to 60
2yos each year

How many horses did MDK have when he first started, and what were his stats? I'll bet it was impressive. There is a reason why he gets the horses he does. Write him off at your own peril.
