Strange you should ask that as this friday night at greyville theres only a 7 race card so no bipot all because a merit rated 88 handicap was scrapped due to insuffucient acceptances ,,maybe that answers your question sly

I can remember a time not that long ago that we struggled to get in races with our Syndicate horses in KZN

Normally they will have a Bi Pot express with the first leg being the last race at Port Elizabeth and then the first 5 races at Greyville. That said the pool only reaches about 60k when it does happen.

YOU WOULD THINK BY now that the first leg of the bipot and the first leg of the place accumalator could both start in race 1 on a seven race program

Definitely not disagreeing with anyone, but we are in the last parts of a virus in KZN and this has effected field sizes. Most of our runners for this weekend all had the virus in one or another form and are having their first run back. We have accepted in spite of poor draws, just to get going again.

And just as we thought we were over the virus, an old campaigner like Doing it for Dan got the fever and had an elevated temperature on Monday. I think that in 3 weeks from now, we should be back to normal....but this virus does, at times, do a boomerang and come back again.
