2 days to go to South Africas flagship race and you can hear a pin drop. Very sad when we consider that we are supposed to be passionate about the game.

I do have an opinion on DD go read and agree or disagree on the July News post. Have some passsion this is not race 9 at Miller park. This is Africas premier horse racing event.

Give me a minute to write it though.

For me the only Horse that can beat PP on the day IS Dancers Daugther - however I'm still a 100% for PP.

PP - DD - RJ my 123. What's yours???

I have not had a bet for 5 days. I am going to load on WENDYWOOD In my mind this horse is on the verge of greatness.

Snaith is telling everyone in dbn DD cant get beat..I cant see her winning at all even running a place..Ive studied for once in my life not listening to trainers and jocks and I really really like Catmandu, Silver Mist and maybe Shes on Fire

Oscar agreed here are my reasons:

Dancers Daughter - I cant see her winning this and these are the reasons why:

1. Unproven on a right hand turn. I am a believer in horses having preference for a left or right track.
2. Weichong stole the race from Pocket Power in the Gold Challenge. Bernard probably didnt react quick enough on the day.
3. 56 000 screaming people wil rile her up. It is rumoured as per another post that she is highly strung and the noise will not do her any good.She will freak out in the straight.
4. When Weichong arrived in the winers circle at the Gold Challenge he was shaking his head negatively. Watch the replay.
5. In the interview Justin was doubtful whether she would run in the July then decided to keep her in. (doubts already)
6. I have already stated that I trust Weichongs instincts and why shouldn't I, he has proven himself against the worlds best.

Thats good enuf for me.

there was a lot of chating and head wagging going on followed by Justin saying that he doubts that sh will run......HMMMMM

As I say for me it's only DD that can beat PP.

When I saw DD a few months back I said that she'd be next years Sun Classique, whom I called the Best Filly in the World to anyone who'd listen - before she was recognised as such.

However, I think that's several months away and right now I can only see PP as the winner.

But of course this is Horse Racing - they're not machines and anything can happen on the day... Yeah that's about as much as a backtrack as I can do - lol!
