I think the master form for this contest is the Buffalo Bill Cody race so Prince Swarovski should either win or run second
six horses after that :(

Only if you give me winner B)

Looks a lovely day's racing - sun is out - not sure what the weather will do later, but I think chances are it will stay dry .... thoughts:

R1: Tia too short imo - at these prices I would take a chance on Generous Notion and cover on Tia

R2: Forgimme priced up more realistically; drawn on the outside so must have chance but Shining Blade does not have to be a superstar to make a winning debut

R3: Mario Lanza overdue and should get it right today; penultimate probably too far and last time was forced to set his own pace; Wolves Among Sheep tries further and could threaten with improvement, but I think Belfry is the biggest danger to ML - Tarry back in form the 2000 should be right up his alley

R4: Not much to choose between the Corrido, Ghost Rider and The Bee Eff Gee and luck in running could decide this - apparently lots of talk for Corrido, so for me I narrowly prefer that one to The Bee Eff Gee and Ghost Rider; Prince Swarofski only has his 3rd start so needs inclusion as well

R5: Pinnacle Stakes complicated by the fact that quite a few come off breaks and are prepping for bigger things - who knows which ones are more ready  Unagi has not won at this track, but has run close, so an inclusion - however even some of those out at the weights could upset here as the ones that are well in may all need it; at a push the top 3 for me would be Fort Ember, Girl on the Run and Orchid Island, but I'm going wide in the excotics

R6: Lovely renewal of the Hawaii Stakes and I like the look of Africa Rising - ran less than 5 lengths behind William of Longsword at level weights, beat Copper Force (2nd in the LQP) also at level weights, so probably comes in under-rated; has the draw and Tarry set to continue his good form from last week; 2nd choice imo She's a Giver who also ran behind WoL so also looks well weighted, but has a wide draw' Sir David Baird needs to be quite a lot better than rated, and although the 3yr olds are beating their elders regularly this season, I think he will be held by both AR and SaG and also Will Pays, who is my 3rd choice; Kangaroo Jack probably prefers some give in the ground, so not for me today and the others have tough tasks imo

R7: The Acasia Handicap; Kilauea imo better on the inside track, but comes in with a lively chance here in what look to be a competitive race; best value imo Shatoosh, who looks really well handicapped and is an inclusion in everything for me; Sylvan on Fire also looks fairly well in and it would be silly to be dumped out of the exotics by a Tarry inmate; surely Bi Pot can't feature at these weights

R8: In the Fillies Guineas they all have to beat Folk Dance imo; the draw could be a stumbling block, but I prefer her to Fish River; I think Silver Thursday will win the Fillies Classic, but the 1600 could be a tad sharp; Rockin Russian is not finding any betting support, but she finished in front of FD in the Thekwini last year; so can upset from a good draw

R9: Monks Hood looks to hold many of these, but Greek Fire imo is a real serious horse and although he might prefer further, I think he will give lots of cheek here (Azzie for the Triple Crown again  ); Surcharge can't afford to give too much start against these, so it will be tough for him; Majestic Mambo imo has not met anything in this class yet; also may prefer further and has a widish draw, but obviously again it would look silly if he were to dump one out of the exotics; Tarry coupling have it all to do from the draws, so may the de Kock pair of Noble Secret and Royal Crusade are more likely to feature

R10: Staying handicap; imo one needs to go wide in the 2nd round of exotics; for me I think both Tarry fillies will at least be right there, and even Royal Honour on his best form looks well handicapped

R11: Pera Palace or anything

R12: King of Mani each-way

Enjoy B)

12 races on one card again, now who do you think will come out on top today? The punter or the bookie. Anyone seen a bookie arrive in a Ferrari and go home on the bus.

Agree with you. Excellent racing but not for punting. I backed the 1st favourite yesterday at 8/10 & win lose or draw thats me for the day.
Also a little nibble on Amazing Strike :)

What price would you make Belfry if he had drawn (say) 9 or lower? Wolves Among Sheep, only after the race will you know whether he was the correct one, 5/2 is a bit short, and Mario Lanza, he may turn out to be the sort that will always find something to beat him, has shortened into 28/10 from 33/10, don't believe he is going to Hollywood, as such, prepared to take him on. Sucha Charmer prefers to race handy, drawn widest won't help, so prepared to brass him as well.

Belfry, drawn one better than worst, which also doesn't help, but is lightly raced and may have the most scope for improvement. Should appreciate the extra, just feel he's worth a go at the price.
Guessing has never been widely acclaimed as a good gambling strategy.
