Didn't want to break your heart Chook, could have started a month ago, bear in mind this is a sprint over 1200m, and still wouldn't have won THIS race

Either the jockeys have no clue, or the trainers are dis-honest with their instructions to the jocks, which one is it?

What are you referring too, stipes cannot punish anyone for the pace of a race, by the same token, a jockey cannot be punished for setting a pace if he deems it too slow, despite the horses's history of (style) racing - go faster if you deem it necessary.
