Hi,

Wondering if someone can help me. Has anyone had any issues with Sportingbet not paying a withdrawal claiming "invalid" banking details? Been paid numerous occasions in the past but when withdrawing 2 weeks ago the funds kept being reversed and put back into my betting account.

When asking what the issue is i get told that when saving my details in their bank they are getting an error. They told me to make use of the universal branch code - which i did and requested a withdrawal again. Same story the funds got put back into the betting account. I spoke to them and told them i used the universal branch code as requested but they reversed the funds again. I then get told to visit my bank and make sure my details are correct!!! What a fantastic solution! I have had this bank account for 20 years and I get told to go to the bank to ensure they are correct. Its like telling me my car is pink when it is white...

They do all payments from FNB and I politely tried to explain to them that I have used an account FNB before and I know for sure that when saving bank details if the account is a SAVINGS account and you save it as a CURRENT account then you will get an error. Once you select savings then it works just fine.

After suggesting this to them i get told "As previously communicated kindly visit your branch and ensure your details are correct and we will proceed from there"

This issue came about after they changed their website. I have been using their site for many years and always been paid no problem.

Not sure what else to do because its been over 2 weeks to pay a withdrawal and when speaking to them about this they seem to just insult your intelligence. Very poor customer service not very accommodating at all.

Agree. That is why i suggested they save the account as a Savings and not a Current account when doing the payment. To which i got told they cant do that from their side and i have to do it my side :S so i told them there is no option to do that on their site. And i then got told to visit my bank to ensure my details are correct. :S

The most frustrating part is that they have paid me before without issue so how do things suddenly change.

Anyway, received an email just now to say they are processing it and can take up to 2 business days now so lets see.

Used their Live Chat and Email.

But eventually it got sorted out today and they paid. Received an email from them apologising and saying "their team is working on figuring out how something so simple could have gone wrong."

Anyway glad its over now - been a frustrating 2 weeks!
