False rail Vaal Classic -ambulance needed soon?

It is so obvious that the layout of the track needs intervention - I heard a Jock complain in an interview - With all the horses bunched up that inside rail you need "luck" to get a run BUT more importantly when will he next fall take place with horses bunched on that rail ... Its insane that trainers, jocks and punters can see the problem but the operator can't

does not help Bob - You will still have 12 horses all hugging that rail---fairer and safer just to put up the rail - It costs nothing as the staff are there and so are the rails and they do put them up now and again - Also you don't want to use only one section of the track as the wear is too much - Look how fair Greyville poly is once you hit the straight horses fan from the entrance to the straight - A spur or FR will do wonders at that track

I agree Mr H. especially the Vaal Classic. - Yesterday it was like waiting for some jockey to have an accident. If they come around the turn and are sitting 5 or so lengths off , it is impossible to go down the inside , thus they go about 5 across and hardly ever make it up especially in Handicaps.

the configuration is different - that Classic was the old Vaal Sand where the horses went so slow that they could not get into trouble - it has a long straight so guys try to save their horses for the last 400m and hug that rail - The Vaal is very wide so you can't expect horses to fan out as they enter the straight as its a mile to the outside rail - Just watch replays yesterday and you will see how dangerous it is - The Jocks and trainers I have spoken to all want a rail or spur but the operator hardly obliges

the track is wide enough to race 20 its just the configuration that is wrong - we need bigger fields not smaller(Smaller field false pace false results false form punters lose)
