Race 1: Vase has proved to be a bit of a difficult customer at the pens, but ran a much improved race last time. With Bernard again in the saddle, she is the one to beat and 7/2 is a nice price. The 2yo Dancing with Rain has been priced up favourite - a decent enough debut but has to improve a fair bit on that run to win here. Brett Crawford steps out two first timers- most notably a half sister to Edict of Nantes.
Race 2:Brave Move keeps improving and goes for 4 in a row. She must be respected, but perhaps the handicapper has now got her measure. The interesting runner for me is Philae- 3.5kg better off with the favourite for 3.25 lengths, which brings them close together, and also the 4kg claimer up. Definitely worth a go at 4/1.
Race 3:Magnificent Seven is overdue a maiden win, and must be respected despite dropping back in trip from 2000m to 1400m. Giant Flag ran a good race over this trip last time and is marginally preferred.
Race 4: Very open, take the field in exotics.
Race 5: Teutonic Knight at 12/1 looks overpriced. In an otherwise tightly handicapped race, he looks very leniently treated off 62 for his maiden win.
Race 6:Rebels Spirit is down 19lb on her peak rating, and if regaining form can easily win this at a juicy 16/1.Otherwise a very open race, where you must include the course specialists Rustar Dhow, Regal Ruby and Trip to Ibiza.
Race 7: Streetfighting Man stands out in this weak maiden and is a banker.
Race 8: A very open maiden where some of the better runners have wide draws to contend with.Elusive Run probably needed its last start and has scope for improvement. Royal Kiss and Azinza have fair form and both should be involved in the finish.Magic Mary, Fine Lady and Second Chance all could pop up.

Double :-

Brave Move X Streetfighting Man
Guessing has never been widely acclaimed as a good gambling strategy.

The 1st race I feel, is not cut and dry.
Peter likes Vase, Dancing for Rain is the favourite and has a winning chance.
For me, both the Ramsden runners must be included in bets.
