The movie Dreamer with Dakota Fanning is loosely based on the dam of Giants Causeway, Mariahs Storm.

I think the best progeny of Giants Causeway to race in South Africa was, Bouclette Top, the charity mile winner.

Go well, Giants Causeway. Rest in Peace.

RIP! Great horse. I was in the UK when he was racing. Was awesome to see. Many tough battles agaianst Kalanisi and Pat Eddery. George Duffield and Mick Kinane along with the Iron Horse were as tough as anything I’ve ever seen. I think eventually, details are vague in my memory but, eventually, Gosden came up with a plan, think Kevin Darley was on board Observatory and they came down the outside at Ascot or wide enough to avoid and stayed well clear of Giants Casueway to avoid getting into a battle with him and that how they beat him.

You’ll have to add The Minstrel to that list of chestnuts.... good memories of Lester and the striking chestnut with four White socks
