Season now up and running but disappointing to see a lot of small fields (less than 8 runners) as that does no favours to the each way players.

There are too many meetings and not enough horses to go round. A cut in the fixture list would mean more competitive fields and better prize money, but the BHA is still convinced that more means better.

First race at Lingfield was 8 runners then a non runner, mine finishes 3rd
