"Group" RESULTS - 'Afternoon' Tuesday 8 July Workings.

Afternoon.
This afternoon completed and went as follows -
The 1st runner we wanted 2.7 and with being around 2.88 on arrival and then dropping down to us and slightly beyond, we had a lay at 2.7 max. The lay was beaten and so a good result....
The 2nd runner we wanted 3.3, but a non runner and 6.7% reduction meant we now wanted a lay price of 3.15. The price had drifted to around 3.25 on arrival and then dropped down to us and slightly beyond, so we had a lay at 3.15 max. The lay was beaten and so a good result.....
The 3rd runner we wanted 2.5 and with being around 3.55 on arrival and then tumbling down to us and beyond under very good late support, we had a lay at 2.5 max. The lay went and won, so the gambled landed and the way it goes.....
The 4th runner we wanted 2.6 and with being around 2.3 on arrival, we had a lay at around 2.3. The price then drifted out to our own price of 2.9 and beyond, so a chance for traders (builders finished) to have a 'free' lay. The lay/trade went and won, so the way it goes and glad of the 'free' lay now.......
The 5th runner we wanted 1.44 and with being around 1.56 on arrival and then dropping down to us, we had a lay at the rock bottom of the market and 1.44. The lay was beaten and so a good result....
The 6th and final runner we wanted 3.0 and with being a well supported 2.6 on arrival and tumbling down further and further (hit odds on) we had a lay at 2.6 max. The lay went and won, so gamble landed and the way it goes.....
WELL PLAYED...(2 from the first 4 went and won (50%) and 3 from the 6 (50%) in total, so a tricky start, but we got in and out early with the money, so well played)
'Rolling' strategy/target players (no 'free' lays for them) Won 1 target......They started their 1st strategy/target on the 1st runner and then hit their targets on their 2nd lay (the 2nd runner)......That left them with an insufficient amount left to start another strategy/target and so they end the session winning 1 target....
'Bank building' strategy/target players had their 1st lay (the 1st runner) at 2.7 max and a good result see them win a chunk of their targets......They then had their 2nd lay (the 2nd runner) at 3.15 max and a good result see them hit their targets....
Bank builder 4 runner strategy/target. £400 bank. Max 25% target £100
1st lay £100 to win as much of the £100 target @ 2.7 max. Result positive. Win £59
Total bank now £459
2nd lay £153 to win the remaining £41 @ 3.15 max. Result positive. Win £41
Total bank now £500
Overall result. Target hit.

Total bank now £500
Overall result. Target hit.

'Traders' had to concede a little on the 3rd runner at 2.5 max and the 6th runner at 2.6 max, so not the best of days for them, but no big damage done and they'll go into this evening looking to recoup..
So a tricky little session with 3 from the 6 (50%) winning, but strategists came out smiling and so well played guys. Speak soon.
Marc.
