Now it’s all down to a bit of luck as any of the 4 teams left can win it. France, Belgium and England have pace to counter attack. Croatia have methodical build ups to their attacks. England have good set pieces, France and Belgium have players who can turn a game with one pass.

I backed Croatia at the start at odds of 33/1

If I had to choose a winner on now tournament has gone so far it would be Belgium, but imo you can’t write any of the 4 teams off

Swiss players Sqahri, Xhaka and Lichtensteiner were all fined for doing the Albanian Eagle but now Russia want Vida banned as they say his actions have insulted the nation.

I backed France, Colombia and Croatia at the start of the world cup so obviously hoping that Croatia win it as they were 33/1. What i have also done is back England to win it at 9/4. My sole reason is that if they do then i will take the winnings jump in my car and make my way to one of the remote Scottish islands where there is no TV or internet. I will hire a tent for a month and live off fish. Why? Because the media will not let go. Yes they will carry on for years to come but the first month will be the worse. It will be nice for the England fans if they win it as they have had 52 years of hurt and they do support their team regardless, its just the media that will drive the rest of us up the wall.
