Bring it back, so when the trainer wins with the " wrong " one , the exotic player doesn't go out

If SP is talking about trainer couplings then I don’t think it will have the effect it used to because the number of trainers have been decimated. Just Imagine the the size of Pick Six dividends with trainer couplings in Cape Town.
However, what about same owner couplings? Or, rather same silk couplings?

I would like the couplings back in the Pick 6, for example if the are two horses from the same yard, one being a 10/1 the other being a 20/1. The first one is the stable elect. So we all put it in our P6 & leave the other one out because it's to wide in the betting. Now on the day of racing the trainer decide to scratch this horse for some or other reason. Than the favourite will run for the scratching. Now the the clever people know that if the fav win it takes Alot of people into the pick 6. The favourit loose the P6 climb. With the couplings running for you you have two changes now of still being in the P6 with bounce of being involved of wining big with the 20/1 coupling going into the P6. Viva coupling back. Viva. Bring back the couplings bring back.

I used to like the couplings in the Pick 6 as it gave a bit of variety with the Jackpot without couplings. Now I only play a Jackpot if I am blown out in the first leg, which does happen quite often.

....we can sing dance and chant.....even toi-toi protest and beg......but it will never change back.....have not ever caught a decent % of a big one ever since the couplings were excluded.....
have fond memories of often scooping big payouts when the wrong one from the stable arrived
.....but forget it....no way of going back now.....my P6 investment is now a fraction of what it used to be.....rather play smaller JP's and other bets....my daily spend is much less now....rather play a bigger lotto ticket..... :woohoo:

The company always hopes the Pick 6 dividend will be more than open-bet bookies’ max payout guarantees.

.....big truth in this jest....but including couplings can really hurt the open bet P6 layer.....I have a mate that invests up to ZAR10K in a perm with his bookmaker and will get the exact tote payout....on proviso that he has at least 1 banker and no more than 4 horses in one other leg the rest he can have more and full fields if he desires.....I believe the bookie is laying off on the banker and if that arrives can adjust potential losses on the leg that he limits to 4 horses.....bring back the couplings and the bookie is f@cked...

....judging from the comments on SP....other than Pirates .....the other Brainiac voting against couplings is a another punting big fish and a major contributor to the open bet.....
....it's us fools that are expected to feed the pools for the bookies and big fish to get more pie.... :S
