Doesn't help when 11 /18 Rated (high weighted) horses were drawn 20 or above at the Greyville track.
No suprise that a few of those declined . Bad draw ,big weight , especially when close rivals have great draws is not going to be encouraging at this course..it's a double whammy.
Only 2 of those with bad draws with MR 105+ accepted.
Another race that could be considered for a downgrade if this Trend persists over years.
Maybe time to consider a log where draws are assigned in stages with the top rated 20 are assigned draws and rest only assigned later ?

Pretty much for all Group races at Greyville over 1400m or less in my opinion.
