but the name of horse he was thinking about has to be...Syrian blue....jockey was Clinton Louw
and the whole of wentworth was on this horse.
owned by a good friend of mine and he actually had about 50 track suit tops printed and given to all of his friends and we would wear them to track ...colours were green and black if im not mistaken.
another was HOOVES OF GOLD....winning by 17 lengths I think first time out.
then there was another episode of the passmores trying to land a coup and all and sundry on the Clairwood midweek knew the horse got beaten in a photo finish...
to the astonishment of the punters on course the result goes in that the Passmore horse wins it,at that time Clairwood had that big long tote board in the middle of the course.
and believe it or not...'PHOTO DAMAGED' was the reply posted on the board where you could go view the photo finish

Can still picture bookmaker Bradley Jacobson shaking his head and paying us,
and his neighbour ...Bruno Pretti for the rest of the day having odds 3 times under the odds of the rest of the bookies.

Then there's ONE STORY RUMOURED with the Passmores, that they backed a horse off the boards.
they then ran the tractor that cuts the grass all along the outside rail at Clairwood the night before and told Billy Harvey strictly not to leave that outside running rail ….hacked in by half the racecourse.
