Kenilworth, 02/06

Domeyer looks to be the one to follow across the entire card, however I am rowing in with a treble I am hoping he can pull off :-
R1) More Magic X (R3) After Glow X (R8) Elegancia (6.8/1 depending where you shop)
Being greedy an added :-
R1 Grey) Flexible Fugitive and (R5 Grey) Hero Quest
Hoping to be a hero on a quest.

Not sure if we will get through the day as it is already soft and already some drizzle and more rain forecast. Play with caution.
Race 1: More Magic hard to oppose after very good second to a decent sort last time. Mr Greenstreet looks next best of the raced runners.
I have 3 making their debut. Forty Days a full brother to the useful Shall be Free. Has had a couple of gallops, and looks a promising type- will need this run and a bit further. Master of Spain is out of a speedy mare, and is the more forward of the two with Mike Robinson. Has also had a couple of grass gallops, and will come on with the benefit of this run- should also be better over a bit further. Mist of Time is bred to stay all day- Will need this run and much further, but looks like he could develop into a nice horse with time. Not really expecting a great deal first time from any of them, and no idea how they will handle the going, but would not be shocked if any of them sneak a place.
Race 2: A more open race than the colts race, as Valderrama had a good debut but did not improve on that at second start. May be better back at Kenilworth. Is the logical favourite but I would not be surprised if she is beaten. Merkaba was slow away and green first start and has plenty scope for improvement. Domeyer is on Bella Summer so presumably the stable elect of their 6 runners and thus must be respected.
I have Helen’s Ideal making her debut. She is closely related to Oaks winner Zante and thus bred for much further. She is a very nice filly, and has had couple of grass gallops. No doubt will come on from the run but I would not be surprised if she made the frame.
Race 3: After Glow should win this if she makes the natural improvement and handles the going. Otherwise quite open with little between 1,2,3,4 on form.
Race 4: Black Sail fair debut and is my first choice to turn the tables on Black Indy. Seattle Kid finished just in front of Black Indy last time and should again beat him. Giant Flag has a back problem and ran below best last two but could surprise.
Race 5: Very open race. Spectra Force and Twilight Trip my top two.
Race 6: Another very competitive handicap. Montego Bay has most scope for improvement.
I have Harvest Wind. He won nicely last time, and he was gelded immediately after that run. I think that he is better over a bit further, and may need this run slightly, but he is still on the up and should be running at them late and has an ew chance.
Race 7: Also an open race. Royal Marine has run two poor races but is now very well in at the weights if regaining form. Bwana has won 2 from 4 and must be respected at this track. Prince Oracy is consistent and should be right there.
Race 8: No selection

Domeyer to ride the treble from here on in
Guessing has never been widely acclaimed as a good gambling strategy.

The above is incorrect, Bwana to split the Domeyer winners, R7.
