"Group" RESULTS - 'Evening Session' Wednesday 9 July Workings.
16 years 10 months ago
Evening.
This evening's session completed and went as follows:
The 1st runner we wanted 2.0 and with being around 1.88 on arrival, we had a lay at 1.88. The lay was beaten and so a good result.........
The 2nd runner we wanted 2.5 and with being around 2.34 on arrival, we had a lay at 2.34. The price then drifted out to our own price of 2.8 and above, so a chance for traders (builders hit and walked) to have a 'free' lay before the race. The lay/trade was beaten and so a good result....
The 3rd runner we wanted 3.5, but a non runner and 5.9% reduction meant we now wanted a lay price of 3.35. The price was around 3.2 on arrival and so we had a lay at around 3.2. The lay went and won, so the way it goes. Traders only playing now though and with them getting their trade back prices in running, they got away with it, so no damage done...
That's where I'm leaving it folks, as only a bit of trading left now and I have plenty to do to be honest, so speak again in the morning. Good lcuk if you trade the remainder..
WELL PLAYED...
'Rolling' strategy/target players (no 'free' lays for them) Won 1 target...........They started their 1st strategy/target on the 1st runner and hit on that runner.........They then found themselves with not enough potential lays left to start another strategy/target (the 4th runner's race abandoned) and so they end the session winning 1 target...
'Bank building' strategy/target players had their 1st lay (the 1st runner) at 1.88 and a good result see 4 runner strategists hit their targets...5 runner builders were now within 10% of the target and so with being so close they take that and run too.....
Bank builder 4 runner strategy/target. £400 bank. Max 25% target £100
1st lay £100 to win the £100 target @ 1.88. Result positive. Win £100
Total bank now £500
Overall result. Target hit.
***************************************
Bank builder 5 runner strategy/target. £400 bank. Max 25% target £100
1st lay £80 to win as much of the £100 target @ 1.88. Result positive. Win £91
Total bank now £491
So with being within 10% of the target it's always advised to take that and run.
Overall result. Target hit.

'Traders' have won or broke level on all their trades thus far, so well played and good luck with the remainder..
So builders made light work of the session and well played guys. Rollers also hit. Speak in the morning.
Marc.

Afternoon.
This evening's working as follows:
6.10 Worcester. SIX DAY WAR (1.88)
Our price 13/10 (2.3) and so a LAY is the call at current odds. We'd lay up to 2.0 or under. *Traders be aware that he has a tendency to lead, or race very prominently*
6.40 Worcester. RUNAROUND SUE (2.3)
Our price 9/5 (2.
and so a LAY is the call at current odds. We'd lay up to 2.5 or under. *Traders be aware that she likes to lead, or race prominently in her races*
7.20 Kempton. FABREZE (3.3)
Our price 14/5 (3.
and so a LAY is the call at current odds. We'd lay up to 3.5 or under.
7.40 Worcester. ELLERSLIE TOM (2.5)
Our price 13/8 (2.625) and so no bets can be advised at current odds. If we see 2.32 or under we'll go in for a lay. *Traders be aware, that although he can race a few ways, it wouldn't be a surprise to see a prominent display this evening*
8.20 Kempton. THE FIFTH MEMBER (3.6)
Our price 14/5 (3.
and so no bets can be advised at current odds. If we see 3.5 or under we'll go in for a lay.
9.10 Worcester. PERFECTUS (1.94)
Our price 7/5 (2.4) and so a LAY is the call at current odds. We'd lay up to 2.1 or under. *Please note that more emphasis has had to go on the early market for clues concerning this race*
All the races, were priced up with non runners taken into account, up until 17.03pm.
That's our work for this evening then. The minimal amount for 5 runner players, so no room at all for error early. We just about have enough about us to warrant going into battle, so discipline to the maximum and take advantage of any prices that come our way. Good luck and speak soon.
Marc.
