Best bet on the card....

ANS to find traffic problems, only to get into the clear too late for a flying finish 2nd...

Exactas - 6,9,11,12 x 3
Trifectas - 6,9,11,12 x 3 x F
Qtets - 6,9,11,12 x 3 x F x F.

Roy's Riviera a lurker at a massive price imo.. finished just over 3 lentghs to Oh Sussana carrying level weights (60kg)... Today has 52kg on the back... Robinson no mug with the placement of his horses.. don't leave this one out of your exotics imo.

Early well done to the Goose for your victory in the 9th... And well done Craig on your stake on TMM running a creditable race stepped up in class. Top 5 finish, good run.

Obviously Firdoas look hard to beat, but imo the betting is wrong, F should not be that short and the rest not that long .... still probably means that the books are taking no chances ... still for me F no value at that price

Race 4: Sugar Girl
Race 5: African Night Sky, If he is ridden to win. Head Honcho and Platinum Prince otherwise.
Race 6: Tricky race as it will be on the sharp side for Star Express, Gimme Six and Folk Dance. Might be too far for The Secret is Out. Final Judgement has not won for a long time, but this is the course and trip where she won her big one. She is fit and well. Rose in Bloom also distance suited.
Race 7: Captain America runs well fresh and is the one to beat. If Gold Standard is at his best he can win this although probably better further these days. Sail South and Copper Force are good milers. UndercoverAgent still improving. Snowdance is a serious runner but her price much too short for me.

Woljayrine for me
Guessing has never been widely acclaimed as a good gambling strategy.

Well she got there in the end ....

Thoughts on the rest of the card ...

R2: Competitive - if Speedpoint is near his best, I think he will be too good, but that last run is worrysome ... but 1100 probably better for hom than the tough Scottsville 1200 ... many others with chances including Sir Frenchie, Woljayrin, Mujallad, Winter Blues and Barrack Street

R3: Another difficult race to predict imo - Barahin looks to have the best from, but would probably have been shorter in the betting if he was strongly fancied; Fitzwilliam has found support in the market, but to me the stable has been a bit flat, so who knows .... Green Haze has a wide draw, so best value for me is Senor Lizard, who can imporve further with the aid of blinkers

R4: I think Premier Dance is the right one, tried and tested and holds Dynamic Diana on their runs in the Victress Stakes; Sugar Girl for me has a lot to do, but obviously can't be ignored due to the hype ...

R5: I agree with many that African Night Sky will not be cut in half to win this - but he may still be good enough; main danger imo is the stable mate Platinum Prince who should get into the July if he wins today; Mambo Mime another who can sneak into the July with a win today and is the main danger to the Snaith pair imo with Roy's Riviera capable of upsetting the odds

R6: Again the word seems to be out that Star Express is the right one; for me although she has the class, she is beatable; The Secret is Out has had 3 tries over 1400 for 1 2nd, may now be looking for this trip and definitely has the class, so good value imo at 8's; Folk Dance also has some good form, but the draw is a negative imo

R7: The big one of the day; everyone has their opinion .... mine is that Snowdance, with the advatage of a prep run, is the right one; Captaini America obviously all class, but i like to see them have a run going inot a big race - could be found wanting at the death; Undercover Agent imo has shown his best form over 1400 to date, and could be found wanting the last 100 against this class; both Sail South and Copper Force have beaten the Captain before and as such can't be considered as no-hopers

R8: For me Kazar has the best form in the race and only the draw and bad luck in running can beat him

R9: Anyone's guess

Enjoy B)
