The rains have come to the Cape today. I'm hoping there will be racing but to be honest I'm not sure if we will race. Pity....cos there are so.e.nice bets on the card

Definitely racing- there has been a bit of rain in the southern suburbs, but not anything like what was predicted. Still threatening, but ok for now.

Going to go for Bass Robinson yards "wrong one " to win the fillies nursery. Mixed signals sent in as an afterthought and wasn't originally entered. May surprise

Race 1: Frank Lloyd Wright has good form and is the one to beat. Frozen Tune to fill 2nd box again! Look for improvement from Sacred Night at 20/1 with the 4kg claim.
Race 2: Room at the Top is the one to beat but a short price. Silver League has consistent form and should challenge despite wide draw. Rochester ran a good race for a 2yo last time and the 4kg will bring him much closer to the favourite.
Hundreds continues to frustrate us. He cracks a decent draw for a change and we have young Luke Ferraris claiming 4kg. He is a rider to watch for the future and is well worth his claim. On our last two runs we have 5 lengths to find on the top two in the betting, so we are not out of it.
Race 3: Very open handicap. King of Aces steps up in trip and if he stays is well weighted.
Race 4: Another very open race. Siberian Husky won in the wet last winter and could be a factor from plum draw.
Race 5: Over Again won well last time and could follow up in an open race. Vice Versa comes back from a long break but is talented. Straat - kind also won well last time and is very consistent.
Race 6: There is not much between the 3 Candice Robinson runners, so we must respect Aldo’s choice. Carioca has had a busy season but is capable. Juniper Springs has been priced up favourite on her reputation and breeding, so will be watched with interest.
Race 7 : The filly Clouds Unfold is a confident choice. Arabian Air disappointed last time but has good form down the straight. Mr Crumford and Watch Me Dad are on the up and should go into the quartet.
Race 8: Again very open. Expedite has good form, and is better drawn than Elusive Touch - little between these two last time. Namibia also poorly drawn but well in at the weights. Travel in Style probably the best of the Candice Robinson runners.
Romantic Crusade needed her last run and did not get a good ride. Has a nice draw and although might still need this one, is not out of it.
